Edmonds Independents
**supporting Special Olympics of Washington athletes in Edmonds and surrounding communities**

The Edmonds Independents are a group of Special Olympics sports teams that participate in competitions offered by Special Olympics Washington. Athletes include individuals with a wide range of skills and special needs and come from all around the Edmonds area from Everett to Seattle. Coaching and other support for the teams is generally provided by friends and family of the athletes.
