Softball and Bocce
Practice Schedule
Softball practice starts June 6, 2026 - Softball teams will be organized at the first practice. Attendance at this activity is required so teams can be established based on number of participants and skills
Location: Edmonds City Park
Time: Saturday starting between 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM depending on team
Bocce practice starts June 17, 2026
Location: Meadowdale Neighborhood Park
Time: Wednesdays starting at 6:00 PM
Regional Tournament Schedule
Location: Phil Johnson Ball Fields and Kasch Park

Health History and Release Form Review Instructions
All athletes must have a Special Olympics Health History and Release Form that is not yet expired to participate in practices. To participate in SOWA competitions, all athletes must have a Special Olympics Health History and Release Form that expires after 08/24/2026 completed and approved no later than 6/21/2026. Please note that many of our athletes and families have had difficulty fully completing the form without delays so it is strongly recommended that this be done ASAP. Team Participation
SOWA enforces a maximum limit for the number of athletes on teams at competitions. If we have more athletes than allowed on a team, we will fill the competition roster based on participation at practices and the order that athlete’s sign-up and participation at practices. So please sign-up as soon as possible. Also note that all athletes who have a valid Health History and Release Form can practice with the team even if we have more athletes than a SOWA competition roster allows.
